The IGN-4 is a compact, affordable, and high-output four-tower ignition coil—ideal for distributor-less ignition (DIS) systems on four-cylinder engines, or two coils can be used for a V8 in wasted spark configuration. It delivers strong spark performance similar to our IGN-1A coil but does not include a built-in ignitor, making it perfect for pairing with external modules like BIP373s or a QuadSpark.

Its rugged design accepts standard HEI-type spark plug boots, and the coil’s performance can be dialed in with dwell settings between 3.0 to 3.5 ms, depending on your application. Each side fires two posts in wasted spark mode. The coil is vibration resistant, compact, and built to handle serious racing environments—just don’t exceed recommended dwell or duty cycles.
