TunerStudio Registration
All MS3Pro-based ECUs sold by AMP Engine Management, including AMP Plug-N-Play, EVO+, Competition, and Mini models, include a registration card for TunerStudio.
To redeem your TunerStudio registration key, use the serial number printed on the card included with your ECU. You can scan the QR code on the card or visit directly to complete the registration.

We recommend keeping this card with your records, as the serial number is required to redeem your tuning software registration.

Installation of Tuning Cable
Connect the supplied tuning cable between the ECU and your computer/laptop. To connect the tuning cable to your computer/laptop, you will need an FTDI USB Adapter (USB-2920). This adapter allows your computer/laptop to communicate with the ECU.

Creating a Project
Step 1 - Turn the Ignition ON
Before creating a new project, make sure the vehicle’s ignition key is in the ON position so the ECU is powered up and able to communicate with your computer/laptop. If the ECU does not have power, TunerStudio will not be able to detect it. Also verify that the USB cable from Step 2 is connected to your laptop.
Step 2 - Confirm Internet Connection
Your computer/laptop must have an active internet connection during this step so TunerStudio can check for firmware updates and complete the setup process properly.
Step 3 - Open TunerStudio
Open the tuning software (TunerStudio). Once the program has opened, click Create New Project.

Step 4 - Enter Project Information
Project Name - This is the name assigned to your vehicle’s project.
Project Directory - This is the file location on your computer where the project will be saved. By default, this is usually the TunerStudio Projects folder inside your computer’s Documents folder.
Firmware - Internet access is required for this step. Click the Detect button and a new dialog box will appear, allowing TunerStudio to search for all compatible devices connected to your computer/laptop. From that list, select the device you are connecting to, such as the ECU, DBW Controller, Transmission Controller, or other supported device.
