At AMP Engine Management, our goal has always been to engineer the most accurate, durable, and tuner-friendly electronics on the market. Our latest release continues that mission — introducing the AMP EFI Wideband, a next-generation air/fuel ratio monitoring system designed for professional tuners, racers, and enthusiasts who demand accuracy above all else.
Unlike many aftermarket widebands built on low-cost circuitry, the AMP Wideband uses genuine Bosch electronics — including the Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor and the Bosch controller IC. This means OEM-grade heater control, diagnostic capability, and long-term stability, now packaged in a compact, weatherproof housing designed and built right here in Gainesville, Georgia, USA.
Why the AMP EFI Wideband is Different
1. Bosch Inside — OEM Accuracy, Proven Durability
At the heart of every AMP EFI Wideband is the Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor and controller chip, the same components trusted by leading OEMs.
This ensures:
-
Fast, stable AFR readings under all conditions
-
Proper sensor warmup and heater control (critical for sensor longevity)
-
Built-in fault detection and diagnostic capability
Other aftermarket widebands rely on imitation circuits or generic chips — we use the real thing.
2. True CANBus Integration
The onboard CANBus system allows seamless communication with ECUs and dataloggers, including MS3Pro, MSPNP-Pro, and other CAN-enabled systems.
-
Fully configurable CAN IDs for easy integration
-
Support for one or multiple widebands on the same network
-
Eliminates analog input errors — and keeps those inputs free for other uses
3. Isolated 0–5V Analog Output
When you do need to connect via analog signal, the AMP EFI Wideband provides a fully isolated analog output with a dedicated sensor ground.
This eliminates voltage offsets, electrical noise, and erratic AFR readings that plague cheaper systems.
-
0V = 7.35 AFR (0.50 Lambda)
-
5V = 22.05 AFR (1.5 Lambda)
Perfect for analog integration with MSPNP2, MS2, or other standalone ECUs.
4. Built to Last — Anywhere You Mount It
-
Rugged, weatherproof metal housing — mount it under the hood or inside the cabin with confidence.
-
Wide operating range: -40°C to 125°C (-40°F to 257°F).
-
Designed and manufactured in the USA, ensuring consistent quality and support.
